Ratings & reviews
Write a reviewI love this blouse. It fits well and gives soft a silhouette. It washes well and drys overnight.
I love the fabric design of this top and have the skirt. I tried it out, but wrapovers never work for my pear shape, so I sadly returned it. By the time it appeared in the sale, I had worked out that I could size up, lose the ties and wear it as a short cascade wrap. I've turned the outfit into a lovely co-ord set to style with sleeveless vests and a belt. The print is probably a bit ditsy for me, but the Winter colours are strong, the vest introduces a good colour block and the shirred shoulders balance me out a bit. Result!
Every now and then I hanker after a more romantic top and succumb, as I did with this top in the sale. The fabric quality and colour is fabulous and the fit around my waist and boobs was perfect. The shirring worked well on my non-existing waist and the cross-over front covered the essentials really well. The arrow side tie was a bit fiddly for me (I have reduced mobility) and I could not get on with the large blouson sleeves at all and sadly had to send it back.
I really like this blouse. It has just the amount of frill that a minimalist can tolerate, for summer. Any other time of year the top would be “fussy” I have to use a hot pink or fuchsia camisole to brighten up the area next to my face. Otherwise, I come off looking a little silver-gray. Pansy may be a color for all pallets. It is not a good color for me, however, I felt that it was recessed enough In this print that I could tolerate it. What put me over on this top, as a win, is that while it its a wrap-around, there is a generous amount to wrap around such when I close and tie the strings, I don't look fat The fabric is Not stretchy so my tummy doesn’t get to be the first thing everyone sees
Bought on a whim as I liked the idea of the shirring and the slightly fuller sleeves. Although the ties are a bit of a faff to find the hole and tie, once in I am happy with the way it looks. The shirring in the back covers any excess flesh nicely and I will wear as an 'out out' top for a while first. As someone with boobs and a natural classic, I could have done with more fabric at the front to provide ample coverage, so a vest underneath is a must for me. Pattern and colours are fab. Size 20
This top was my first order from K ltd and I 've just returned it, disappointed because the v-neck is far too low. Can stylists please cater for those of us who are small and shortwaisted. This is such a shame as otherwise the garment ticked all my boxes!
Very happy with this top. It is perfect with denim which is my go-to every day bottom for every day life. I will need to pin the crossover however or wear the new v neck lace cami in creme underneath - I think that would look very pretty.
So sad that this just doesn’t work for me at all. I am M-L in Kettlewell and initially ordered the M and it was way too small across the bust, like nowhere close. So I exchanged it for a L. That has now arrived and the bust works better (although too low to work without a cami) but it is a terrible fit elsewhere - so baggy across the back, in the shoulders everywhere. I’m generally a 12 but with a 32F bust.
I love this top! It appeals to my romantic style plus it is flattering to my pear shape because it shows my small waist ! CAN WE HAVE THIS TOP IN SOLID COLORS???
As much as I attempt to stay in my "natural gamine" lane, I'm often drawn toward the princess look. Most often, the style fails to fit my personality and preference. My attempt to make this style work for me, I'm sure, is a desire to recapture that youthful, carefree spirit of yesteryear. This Nettie Wrap Top has done just that. With its stunning array of color to every detail like, shoulder ruching and back shirring which provide my soft straight body type with a bit of a waistline, hidden compartment for back bumps, roomy sleeves for unsightly upper arms and "romantic cuffs'" which make one feel like a princess, indeed. This top is true to size. I am a 38DD bust and the L fits well. The fabric is soft and drapey and, a smidge of give. I do wear it with a cami since the cut is too low for my liking to wear solo, but that gives me the opportunity to go from playful to sophisticated with the change of an under layer. However, with the use of a clip or pin, to close the neckline a bit higher, it would be possible to wear without a cami. Oh no ! Now I am eyeing the Hyacinth Vine.
