I hoped this was good quality cotton and was not disappointed. It is crisp rather than soft, and looks good as a "shacket" over a vest or sleeveless T. The cut is generous, so it hangs well and doesn't look skimpy, but I would agree that the arms are rather narrow. All in all, a good addition to Kettlewell's classics in a fabric that takes dye beautifully - Periwinkle is gorgeously rich.

Really pleased to see that Kettlewell are now producing a standard cotton fabric shirt (ie not t-shirt material). Good quality cotton, nice thickness. I ordered two sizes of the Mayfair Shirt as I wasn't sure which I needed given the changes in the larger sizes since I last ordered a top. I only tried on the smaller one of the two which was quite roomy but a reasonably decent fit on the shoulders (mine are narrow for my bust so getting shirts to fit is usually a problem). If I was being picky, I would suggest your designer should consider reducing the depth of the collar down to the current stitching line and the height of the collar riser by a smidge. A second button on the cuffs would be preferable. I hope this shirt becomes a Kettlewell staple - I'd love one in mallard/teal or a rich dark purple next year. NB. Bought with discount code.

I decided to keep it as it's in my favourite colour periwinkle and lovely quality. A poor fit for me but not the shirt's fault,.. I needed a large size in this one to fit my fat upper arms though the shirt now has masses of excess fabric round the bust. Pleased the arms weren't too long on me as most shirts are.

Beautiful cotton, soft and comfortable but way too big it wore me. Reordered in XS.
