Write a reviewI love sleeveless layers - gilets, waistcoats, lightweight knits, but sadly this was not quite right for me. Great colour(s) on offer, but just too square and the wrong length for my long torso hourglass/soft rectangle. And I prefer softer cashmere to the slightly more dense merino (which I can't wear next to my skin). I love how it looks on others.
I was glad this size came back into stock. My usual size is too big in this style. I prefer a vest that fits neatly. The colour is gorgeous. I wish you had more items in this lovely winter/summer share colour! The quality of the knit is lovely, too.
Wow! What a beautiful colour! I’ve found my Bright Navy Marnie so useful, I couldn’t resist a second! I love how well, Bright Amethyst works with my predominately neutral Silkies/ base layers to add an effortless splash of happy colour! Size wise, I’m between an L/ LL and both fit. Style wise, I just prefer the more casual/ relaxed feel of the larger size. Highly recommend.
I usually order a size M in Kettlewell knitwear for my 12/14 top and the M in this tank was a good fit. I am returning because the True Red colour was not quite right for this Autumn. I may try the Blue Spruce.
I originally purchased this item in my usual size but had to return it and go a size down which fits well. I love the colour! I love the style! Kettlewell, you should have purchased more of this item. Sweater vests are very difficult to find, yet they are a fabulous addition to your wardrobe. I would have loved one in the bright navy.
I am really enjoying the new Marnie vests this season! So nice for a bit of extra warmth and color contrast over my cotton rib shirts, striped Hetta tees and silky roll necks. I started out trying bright navy and sherbert pink. I liked them both so much that I have added the light emerald and electric lime. They are a bit boxy, but I like the fit. I am between sizes and sized down for this item.
The material is lovely and soft. The colour is a little different than what I expected which would have been a bit lighter. It designates for springs and winters. I can't see a spring wearing this. The green is a little too deep and blue. It would definitely work for someone who is a cool tonal and of course winter. Is the fit intended to be boxy? It is loose at the waist on me. I prefer a little more fitted, but you could always add a belt.
