Write a reviewI bought this in XS in iris and light coral. I love that the sleeve goes to the elbow and the shape has a a 60s vibe. This is a wide v neck. It is not what I was expecting from the picture but I like the fit more. Wearing it with pleated shorts and I think it will look good with fitted pants or pleated trousers. In Kettlewell shirts, my size varies from xS-medium and usually XS in sweaters. This is roomy in an XS.
Based on previous reviews, I ordered a medium and a small. First impression was of Kettlewell’s usual fabric quality and lovely colours. However, these tops are very roomy and not shaped, just a boxy top with far too much material around the waist. The medium might have been good but for the dropped shoulders and baggy sleeves which just didn’t work. A real shame as the shorter length is just what I was looking for.
I really needed a lighter weight cotton t shirt slightly shorter than the everyday cotton t shirt to wear with wide leg trousers and skirts. (The gathered sleeves of the Gabriella are too frilly for me.) Big hopes for this one, but it’s just too wide across the shoulders & sleeves, even after sizing down from my usual S to an XS. Bought it in pink ice & heron blue. Both colours are great, of course. The heron blue XS seems slightly less wide, so have kept that one and will have a go at rolling up the very wide sleeves.
I love the (su) colours so ordered two; soft white and pink ice, but only tried on the pink ice. It seems a boxy fit, very baggy and baggy arms too. Unfortunately nothing like the photos with the model wearing it. Such a shame as I would have kept them both if they'd been as described online. I'm usually a 12 to 14 UK size.
I bought the light coral and it’s a gorgeous colour and fabric however imo the description isn’t right as suggested in other reviews. I would call it a relaxed fit; it has dropped shoulders (lots similar in the shops) and is a very loose fit. I will try it again in a smaller size and see if that works better for me.
Rather shapeless and very big with flappy sleeves. Sorry had to send back
