Write a reviewAn emergency sale purchase that’s fast becoming a wardrobe hero - they’re so versatile! Although I’m not a fan of the hook & eye, I love everything else about the style and fabric of these trousers (and the Emerald Zoe Print I bought last season). I’m typically between an S & M with regular length legs and found size M a comfortable fit. Easy wear & care, breathable fabric - warm enough to also wear in Spring and Autumn, I’m finding them really useful and fun to wear with my Jewel Brights and stripes.
I didn't expect these to suit me as wide leg trousers often make my 'rugby thighs' look even chunkier. But whilst visiting the studio I tried the Navy pair just because - and they looked surprisingly fabulous! I then tried the Chocolate pair as I have many navy bottoms, and they really looked amazing so I had to get them! They went from not being on my list at all to be at the very top! I've worn them several times and they seem to suit many occasions. They can be dressed up or down and I think will suit transitional as well as warmer weather as they are very airy and swishy. I found that they stretched a little around the waist during wear and I have now decided to take them in as I want them to sit snug around my waist rather than on my hips (I'm a neat hourglass shape). Also partly to do with losing a couple of kilos. They have washed well although I noticed some slight felting, but it was easily rectified with a light fabric shaver. I also noticed a little snag in the material near the hem which affects the pattern but thankfully I can hardly see it. This was probably during washing so I will be using a delicates bag moving forward. I spin at 800 rpm, dry on a hanger and after a light steam they look fabulous again. I expected them to crease quite badly and take a lot of steaming/ironing but they really don't. The hook and eye is a bit fiddly but I don't have issues with it. It faces outwards rather than inwards but once I figured that, I can fasten and unfasten easily even without looking. However, they still stay done up fine with just the zip. All in all a really lovely versatile pair of trousers which I know will get tons of wear. Resisting the temptation to buy a second pair!
The fabric is substantial and good quality, suitable for all seasons. The subtle elastication at the rear waistband of the trousers makes them fit well and the hook and eye wasn’t a problem. Good hem allowance for the extra tall. They were fine on my 5’7” frame. Looks good with the Joni blouse and a belt as a jumpsuit.
I was very disappointed with these. I bought the Geranium and the Chocolate ones together on a 20% discount, so £60 each. Really wanted these to work as I buy KW trousers so infrequently as they're never long enough these days. My fault for not reading the extra print, but only on arrival this morning I found out there was a zip plus a very cheap-looking hook & eye to negotiate. The hook & eye was problematic before I even undid the zip as it is of poor flimsy silver metal. I knew they were half elasticated. but as pull-ons that would have been okay. The waist was far too small and rigid for summer weather unless of model quality. A large might have been the answer to the waist but then being so wide I suspect they'd be too baggy and possibly too long. I wasn't convinced about the fabric and would need a lot of ironing when washed or gone on a journey - I may be wrong on that. But I am sure these will fit many people on here and look absolutely terrific but sadly I'll be returning them straight away this afternoon as I didn't find them good value. They were priced at £75. Really sorry.

I am a winter but I got the navy which I think are fine for winters. These have tided me over working long hours in a retreat venue where I needed to be somewhat smart to welcome groups but also able to move freely and run around problem solving. The fabric does always show more fibres after washing (which may come off with a lint roller) but these will be really useful and easy to wear.
I bought these in the brown spot, and I’m pleased with them. The fabric seems to be a good quality fairly substantial fabric which hopefully won’t crease too badly. Perfect length on me, I’m 5’7’.
