Write a reviewThankfully for once the top fitted. Neat on the shoulders. The sleeves and the length were a little too long ( only about an inch) but I am petite so expected that. The fit skimmed the body. I feel a size 12 would have been too tight. The colour was not drab as I expected. It was near to a shade of mushroom ,neutral shade. However, putting a string of pearls or a cream scarf next to very much enlightened the colour. There could be many possibilities to pair with this colour. Went well with my silver grey hair

I love this top. Lobeila is great on me. Good quality fabric, fits well across the shoulders and the neck won’t flash anything when i bend forward. I also ordered the dove grey but the colour doesn’t suit me - surprised as I have another top in a light warm grey that is very flattering.
This top is just wonderful!! Thank you Kettlewell for a gorgeous fabric, and most importantly a Crew neck that is not too tiny and tight for those of us who don't suit them. This style is so much more flattering. PLEASE make lots more colours in this style!
I ordered this in size 14 because previous years’ Darcey are a bit too fitted in M (12). Unfortunately there was a bump at the shoulder seams which was noticeable, the shoulders were too wide and sleeves too long so I am returning it. The raspberry is a wow colour for me so I am going to try a size 12 with fingers crossed.
This was my second Darcey top. After being so pleased with the chartreuse colour I ordered chateau. I am afraid I did not even unwrap the top. The colour appeared drab. Disappointed so sadly returning.
Instantly i saw this Darcey Crew neck and also in my favourite colour "Raspberry " i had to buy instantly and so glad I did as its the perfect fit for ne so very happy with my purchase and will buy chateau next purchase
The chartreuse is a beautiful colour and will look great with either denim or black trousers. The top fits well and I like the lined front. Will probaby buy in another colour
Lovely top, true to KC sizing however, although the front is lined the back is not and the big failing in my opinion is that it should also be lined at the back as is the reversible sleeveless top. As is, lovely front but any blemishes on my back are for all to see. Having said that, I have kept the top to wear as a layer but definitely not on its own.
Long-ish term KW customer here (since mid-2021); I've tried many of their items. The Darceys are fab--the front double layer makes them warmer in winter but not sweaty and the look is more formal than a plain t-shirt. They work for both business-casual office and weekend wear. I'm between small and medium KW sizes now and the medium Darcey crew long sleeve fits (size 10-12, 32E, average shoulders and torso). Right length to tuck in, also the crew neck is slightly deeper making it more flattering (I don't have a long neck!). Never thought I'd gush about a grey shirt but Mercury is an amazing colour--medium grey but with a teeny tinge of green, tiny bit of blue. I don't get on with KW Silver at all but this is sublime for this (self-diagnosed) Summer.
