Christmas colour combinations

Christmas is coming! Even for the most festivity-shy among us, there's no denying that this most celebratory time of year is upon us, and what could be better than some festive outfits to match the mood?

Dressing for Christmas feels like it ought to be easy - it's an 'anything goes' sort of time, with few serious dress codes and plenty of colour and sparkle to go around. But for some seasonal palettes it can feel more challenging than others. We noticed that Springs in particular can struggle to find outfits that feel festive at this time of year - the Spring seasonal palette lends itself so well to the first new growth of the year, and to bright tropical summers, but the deep, rich colours of the festive season can feel a little more challenging. We found that the best solution with any seasonal palette or outfit that doesn't feel quite right at this time of year is not to be tempted away from the palette that makes you look and feel your best, but to stick with it and add layering, texture and a good dose of sparkle to up the festive ante.

As someone who is always cold, a range of Kettlewell synthetic down jackets in more unusual colours would be fab!

How about berets for next Autumn/Winter? Perfect to buy in wow colours, next to your face and also a good starter purchase for those who have just had their colours analysed!

I love the Bright Amythist scarf. Do you do matching gloves?

Kettlewell Colours: No I'm afraid not but I'll suggest it for next Winter!

It is good to see Jo modelling some of the Kettlewell clothes. I would find it very helpful to know her height because that affects the way different styles flatter different body shapes, sizes and heights. Thank you

Kettlewell Colours: Jo is 5' 7"

I am a grey haired Autumn, and think I look good in my colours, so why am I drawn to the Spring and Winter colours? So much more bright and fun
