Autumn's white t-shirt

Our Autumn model, Eveline, wearing an Antique White Cara V

Your Autumn version of the white tee is deeper, richer and warmer than true white (which belongs only to Winters).

True bright white can look very harsh on Autumns. Your warm skintone needs a warmer, softer cream tone as your version of white to bring out the warmth and depth of colour in your complexion.

You might find that a soft white (rather than a true clear optic white) can also work when paired with your other Autumn colours, especially in softer fabrics - think knitwear rather than crisp cotton - as these further soften the effect of the whiteness. But your best whites will always have a deeper, richer 'double cream' undertone to them.

Add even more depth by layering your version of white with shades of toffee and chocolate for a laid back luxe look, or pair it with marine navy or darkest olive for an office appropriate look that is 100% Autumn. If you're keeping it pale for summer, think about adding some texture in your outfit to stop you looking too flat and washed out in shades of cream.

As well as the colour, think about the shape and style of tee that works for you. A softer neckline often suits a softer face shape, while an angular one suits a more structured shape. Also think about sleeve lengths - the classic tee is a simple, crew necked, short sleeved affair, but if you feel more comfortable in half or 3/4 sleeves, choose the tee that makes you look and feel your best. The good news is that Kettlewell offers a huge range of colours and styles, with a permutation to suit absolutely everyone, and with even more new variations coming very soon!
