At what point will I be charged for my order?
We will not take any payment from you until the point of dispatch. However, we do require a pre-authorisation from you when you place the order, which may appear on your statement.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to a change in the pre-authorization process, all orders paid for with PayPal will now be charged at the point of ordering.
Which payment methods does Kettlewell accept?
We accept online payment in a secure environment with Visa and Mastercard credit cards, as well as Visa, Electron, Solo and Maestro debit cards. We are unable to accept American Express. You can also pay using PayPal. PayPal orders can only be placed via our website.
From January 2021, Kettlewell will no longer be accepting cheques as a payment method for goods and services.
Is it safe for me to pay for merchandise with a credit card?
Kettlewell online store uses the very latest encryption technology (SSL) to ensure that your transactions with us are private and protected as they travel across the Internet. When you proceed to make your purchase, your browser makes a connection to the secure section of our website. Your browser will show a padlock in the bottom right corner to indicate that it has made a secure connection and depending on your browser a window may pop-up to notify you that you are entering this safe area. To protect cardholders, your bank may request that you are screened using 3D Secure (MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa) and by an independent fraud prevention service. We may contact you for additional security purposes should we deem this necessary.
What should I do if my promotional code doesn't work?
First thing to do is check that the code hasn’t expired and discount codes can only be used on full priced items. If you still need help after this, simply contact us
Will I be charged VAT?
All prices on our UK site are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the prevailing rates where applicable. If your order is being dispatched outside the UK then we will deduct VAT.
What if I am a resident in the Channel Islands or IOM?
Products shipped to the Channel Islands and IOM are not charged VAT. This is because the Channel Islands and IOM are not part of the UK VAT territory.

Will I be charged VAT?
All prices on our website are in your local currency and already include all local tax and customs charges. You should not be asked to pay any more money before receiving your parcel. If your are contacted by your local customs office or DHL, please email us on [email protected].
Note for Canadian customers: The local VAT shows separately at checkout but is included in the final price.
